Choose by rifle length, not by the name on the case

The product name gives the external dimension, and the rifle goes inside. The difference can be large and it is not constant: a 1235 mm case loses 25 mm to its walls, a 1387 mm case loses 79 mm. What counts below is the internal dimension.

Rules in Poland

Why a case, not a rack in the cabin

The American picture of a rifle in a rack behind the seats is a poor idea under Polish rules. In transport the firearm must be unloaded, not visible from outside, and the ammunition carried separately.

Unloaded

Chamber empty, magazine out. The basic condition and the one most often checked.

Not visible from outside

A closed case in the boot or under a bed cover satisfies this directly. An open rack in the cabin does not.

Ammunition separate

A second, smaller case or a separate compartment. Separation is cheap and removes the doubt.

Information only, not legal advice. As of 8 September 2026 — if you are visiting Poland to hunt, check the current wording with your organiser, because responsibility rests with the person carrying the firearm.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Why is there no internal dimension for four of the cases?

Because we have not confirmed it on the product sheet, and the loss to the walls is not constant — it ranges from 25 to 79 mm.

We would rather write “no data” than publish a guessed figure. On an 800 zł purchase, guessing ends in a return.

Not sure your rifle will fit?

Send us the overall length and whether the scope stays mounted. We will check it against the internal dimensions and suggest the smallest case that works — a larger one is needless weight and bed space.
